My boss has asked me to find a good (I'm hoping free, but not necessarily) keyboard template program. Does anyone know of anything or use one they like?
Thanks.

You mean a printed overlay for the physical keyboard with little instructions next to each key?
Or something that allows remapping the keyboard?

Remapping of the keyboard. But it would be nice to print off the result too.

Perfect. Thank you.

Okay, after sending these links to my boss I got this back from her:

"Thank you both for these. I probably used the wrong term. What I was looking for was an overlay of sorts that would identify the functions of the function keys in Horizon. Like the old Word Perfect templates."

Have you seen anything like that?

Thanks.

I have no idea what "Horizon" is, but you could cobble something together using Excell.

You want to print a strip that has sections that align with each Function key. (The strip can be taped directly above the keys).

In WordPerfect the keys had a normal state, a Ctl-Fx state and an Alt-Fx state. Your application may have something similar. So each key block may need to contain three entries. You can use normal, bold and bold italics to indicate each key state, or color.

Horizon is just the library catalogue software. Neither here nor there. We definitely want something that aligns with the function keys. So there isn't something better than excel that would do this I guess? I don't want to have to measure everything out to make sure it fits.

And that is the one that my boss found originally. She just wanted another option. I guess we'll go that after all. Thank you as usual for your prompt help.
