Hi,
We have numerous mailbox resources so that user's can book meetings rooms. I.e. Each meeting room has a mailbox which is linked to a disabled account. The user's have rights to open the calender for these mailboxes and to make appointments.
The problem is, they can only see free/busy information up to a certain date. (In this case - the 30th June.)
I have researched the problem and done testing. A Global policy will not work, since these mailbox resources are linked to disabled accounts. A GPO needs a user to log on so that the policy can bve applied at workstation level.
The other solution is to manually change the free/busy information settings within Outlook. In order to do this, you have to have full mailbox rights to the room and open it directly in Outlook. I have done this to a few of the rooms. I changed the default values to 6 months every 2 min's. This seemed top work - but a coulpe days later, the rooms start losing the configuration. The changes are therefore not consistent.
Does anyone have an idea of how to deal with this problem?
Julian
