Freaky .NET Install Problem!

When I run .NET Setup on my new machine it kicks of ATI catalyst install in Spanish!?!

Now I know Catalyst relies on the framework but I've found nothing on this particular problem

Ok I've got to clear either a Reg or some sort of MSI entry but Where and How?

Can this be a unique post?

I'd laugh if it wasn't so damn perplexing!

I am trying to install VB .NET in XP Pro SP2 and am having this exact problem - did you manage to find a solution in the end?

If anyone else has an idea what I could try I'd be most grateful.

It's all OK - I found the answer on another site. In case anyone else comes across this - for some reason Windows was running
<system32>\setup.exe instead of the setup.exe from the CD.

The path to the Catalyst drivers was in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App
Paths\Setup.exe registry key. I removed that path from the key & now all is good.
