Hi

Im having problems creating a pdf from a framemaker book. I am using a fruitiger font, which comes out looking horrible - no big deal I can change the font, but also the colours I use come out looking bad with washed out colours. Anyone know the answer. Im using a pc.

What postscript driver are you using. Visit Adobe's web site to download the latest and greatest for your OS. Then set up Distiller printer.
When configuring your Distiller Job Option, make sure you have set up all the options as you want them. Also embed the font that's giving you problems. Make sure your image compression format is appropriate - JPG is lossy but good compression, ZIP is non-lossy but can result in lesser compression.
