FPS on games has been killed.

I've been trying to use any program that runs with an FPS that can be tracked and it's gone down from 60 for HL and 120 for Q3 to about 20...

I've got a Ge Force 2 Ultra, 256 megs of RAM, 1.33T-Bird, etc. I've checked my video card drivers and tried installing different ones without much change. Help or advice would be appreciated.

Another thing is my computer won't accept more than one stick of RAM. I think it might be that my RAM isn't that good of quality, I have a KT7-A Raid. The computer runs and all but it works strangely and locks up a lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that your RAM might be bad. Try finding another RAM, maybe from a friend, and try installing it on yours and see if it makes a difference. If no crashes and/or the FPS went up, then it could be something.

You got a Geforce2 Ultra and you only have 60fps for HL (counterstrike??). Darn, I get 100fps for mine (geforce2 mx - 32mb)
