Foxpro v3 startup."insufficient memory" error 1

New install of Visual Foxpro V3.0. Program will not start and gives me "insufficient memory" error. PC has 1.2gig Amd, asus MB and 350meg DDH Ram. Program installed ok on my notebook. Suggestions please!

This is basically due to not enough virtual memory available to start FoxPro.Increase the size of the Windows swap file.Also verify a valid path exists for the temporary files that FoxPro creates.
at last u can do this
type this at dos prompt
RENAME foxuser.dbf foxuser.dbk
and restart foxpro

Hi,

I sent this awhile ago, but I'm not sure it went as I had the wrong password. I have been unable to enlarge the swap file yet as I have Norton System Works installed and it won't let me change the swap file. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to uninstall Nortn and enlarge the swap file. Since I have not been able to start Foxpro I don't have any temporary files. Changing the name of foxuser.dbf to foxuser.dbk did not seem to have any affect.
