Howdy...

I have a Foxpro 2.6 app that also has FoxFire with it. I have VFP 6 installed and am wondering, does VFP have FoxFire report writting capabilities or its own version of FoxFire with in it? I need to try and create a bunch of reports, but using FoxFire 2.6 is to confusing when trying to pull in 5 or 6 tables and create a report.

Thanks,

Bill

FoxFire seem to follow the versions of VFP.

its own version of FoxFire with in it?

No it does not.

I need to try and create a bunch of reports, but using FoxFire 2.6 is to confusing when trying to pull in 5 or 6 tables and create a report.

You would have to same situation with VFP. And I found that FoxFire is limited in that way, you have to hack their code just to include a third table.
For simple reporting FoxFire is good for the end-user to use, but for complex reporting, I haven't found any tool that does the job other than coding it your self.

While the lastest VFP version of FoxFire is much better than the 2.6 version, it is still a bit limiting - but that's normally what you want for end users.

You may want to check out the new Stonefield Query product - In my opinion this is much better than FoxFire.
