Is any one using Foxpro 2.6a on a Novell 4.11 server with long name installed and had any problems? I have some strange problems and wondering if foxpro can properly read Novell's FAT table, that is now capable of long names, and coming up with the wrong file sizes?

I am using FPD2.6 with Netware 4.2 and long file names on a 36GB sys disk without any problems

Jerry,
As long as you understand that FoxPro 2.6a itself can't handle long file names internally, and Novell's file name abbrevations are different than those normally created by DOS, you shouldn't have a problem. By the way Novell doesn't use FAT - they have their own file system, but your OS, your Netware Client and NOS take care of these low level differences for you.
