Foxdoc... any updates?

New year's greetings from Australia !!

Have been using FPW2.6 since it was new and have added a couple of patches but to the best of my knowledge FoxDoc has not been patched or updated.

There a few undesireable quirks in FoxDoc, the worst (for me) being the reporting of spurious cross-references in Xref.doc. Can anybody advise on FoxDoc updates etc (if such exists). Also when was the last FroxPro 2.6 patch?

The "last" update patch to FPW 2.6a causes ?Vers(1) to return "FoxPro 2.6a for Windows [Aug 02 1994 15:32:24] Product ID XXXXX-XXX-XXXXXXX". (Of course the Div Zero patch came after this, but it didn't afffect anything but the start up code anyway.) It's still available at

As far as I know FOXDOC.APP wasn't been updated since 3/11/94 - that's the date on my copy anyway. I've always found it wasn't worthwhile to even turn on the XREF for anything but the smallest application - otherwise it will quickly run out of memory.
