I am running the DBC Setup wizard in foxaudit 8.0. After I select the project in step 7, foxaudit tries to create the tables. I am getting an error message on screen saying

13 Alias 'L' is not found. USE...
OK or Cancel

the 'L' it is referring to is my L drive where the project is located. There is also a wait window on screen saying:

Building transaction log primary key table

I hit ok and a messagebox comes up saying:

problem building log table

I hit ok and everything runs through fine. Then I get a messagebox saying:

1206 Recursive macro definition. Set path to &Environment[9,1]

This doesn't happen when I have the project on my local drive. Is this a bug or I'm I doing something wrong here? I'm following step by step from the manual.

thanks

Nick,
Since most of us aren't likely using FoxAudit, I'd suggest you directly contact TakeNote Technologies at support@takenote.com and ask them. I know Jim is usually very quick with his responses - unless he happens to be out of town training, and then it's usually not very long.

Note: Does this path have a space anywhere in it? Does the local path have any spaces?

Rick

I've emailed him again, (I did once in past long time ago and didn't get an answer). I don't have any spaces in the paths at all. If I hear anything, I'll post it on this thread.

thanks
