Hi all,

Unfortunately we've just had some redundancies in our company, and management wants all these people's phones to ring as normal, but when they get diverted to voicemail to actually go to the voicemail of another person rather than to their own currently setup voicemail.. (eg, Station 1234 to actually go to Stations 6789's voicmail when forwarded to Audix)...

I know how to set up conditional call forwarding, but is there a way to actually do this in Audix (I feel that it won't be a Definity command so I'm not sure if this is in the right forum).

Thanks Kindly in advance to all

In Audix you can put a secondary extension in the subscriber screen. Example go to "ch sub 6789" and put 1234 in the secondary extension.

Hi,

Yeah, I saw that one and tryed setting it up, but it's actually for a fax machine. Basically if you have a fax you can forward it to audix which will give a voice message saying that you've reached the fax of said person.. Not entirely useful in any case, and unfortunately not a fix in this situation... Thanks of the try in any case..

Any other ideas ?

Sorry, I was thinking it could be used for that. I don't have Audix anymore to test.

For inbound calls you could convert it in the "change inc-call-handling-trmt trunk-group" screen. Would not work for internal calls and also would ring extension 6789, which is probably not what you want.

Thanks for the alternate option CBB.. Though doesn't exactly work to management's liking.. I've convinced them that the only way is an actual call diversion to the extension!...

Thanks kindly for all the ideas though.

Cheers :-D

depending on how many you had, you could assign a cov path to a vdn/vector that had a messaging step...

Ok here is an easy way to resolve your issue. Go to audix and type in

change auto-attend-routing routing-table

Set up your incoming number and where you want it to go. Very easy to do.

I had thought of the VDN/Vector idea, but that would involve actually removing or renumbering his station (therefore it would no longer ring on it like management wanted)..

The auto-attend routing-table though.. pure brilliance.. Didn't even know that existed!! Will accomplish exactly what I need.. Thanks heaps for the tip g3rguy!!!
