How do I forward a message sent to user@mydomain.com to xuser@abc.com and yuser@xyz.com.

I know how to setup a contact and then add that to the delivery options in the users' AD but that only takes one email address. I have tried to create a distribution group (Universal/Distribution) and then added that to the users' delivery options and that does not work.

Hi,

The solution you tried is correct:

Simply create a Universal Distribution Group,
Create the additional contacts,
Add the contacts the the newly created group
Set the forwarding to forward to the new group on the original contact.

Thats how ive done mine anyway.

Thank you. I made a typo in the email nd that was why it was not working.

I hate to take a step backwards, but could someone tell me exactly how to foward to an external e-mail address.

You need to create a mail-enabled contact that has the forwarding address in AD. Then you need to go to the user's account properties that needs forwarding and in oneof the Email tabs (I forget which one) you can specifiy a new delivery address. There you can select the conatct that you just created
