Forwarding problem

Hello,
Had a customer call me today with this problem. I don't know what version of software the switch is. They have routes 001 thru 008 setup with destination codes and cell phone numbers entered for the dial out numbers. When they get a call they can hit the voice call key and enter the destination code for the corresponding cell number and transfer the call to that cell number. It works great. Here's the problem, if they do feature 4 and enter the destination code and their cell number at their extension any call that comes into the system will go to that cell phone. No calls can be answered by the reception or the AA. I haven't gotten to the site yet. Maybe someone else has seen this problem. I've setup lots of routes and destination codes and have never had this happen.

It sounds like the phone that is forwarded has line appearance with ringing. Anything that rings on that phone will forward.

Hey I think that might be it. I'm going by the site today to check. It is a small system with I think seven or eight phones. I'll let you know the results. If I set the lines to ring only that should fix it. Or appear only.

Hey Guys,
Sorry for the delay. phoneguy427 was right on. Went to site and set the phones that they wanted forwarded to appear only and tested. That did the trick.
