On a CICS running 7.1 I have four analog lines. I have created a dest code 70 and set all phones to redirect which all lines appear and ring on all phones. when I forward a phone the call forwards properly, but when I release the call the lines don't disconnect. I receive a busy/reorder and the lines wont release. I have the lines set with supervision so it should dissconnect. Any ideas?

Make sure your provider is giving you a disconnect signal. Just because you have it turned on in your system does not mean that they are sending it.

I've been told by B. Canada that a disconnect supervision signal (what they call Cut Off on Disconnect,COD) cannot be transmitted on fibre optic undergrounds. What I had to do was fight with them for weeks until they found spare copper pairs. Once the line was LT'd to copper the disconnect supervision worked fine and no more issues. GOOD LUCK!!

Hawks was right, The phone company no longer puts disconnect supervision on the line unless you specificly order it. I have placed a change order and it started working as of yesterday.

Thanks all for your help
