I have an IP office 500 v2 release 7.0 that I need set up so when a call comes in it rings the extensions in the main hunt group during the day and if no answer goes to HG voicemail box. When customer leaves they want to be able to forward to someones cell phone or answering service by pressing a button. I know this can be done and I am real close to making it work but can't get all the extensions to ring when a call comes in during the day, since I can't set the hunt group to collective. I know there must be a way. Any help will be appreciated.

Build a second Hunt Group that contains only one User, set the group to Linear.

User can be real or imaginary!

Set User to Unconditional Forward and enter 9 and cell number for the Forward To.

Set the second Hunt Group as the Out of Service or Night for the Main. Program the appropriate button and you should be done.

This basic setup can be tweaked to meet you specific needs.

So set I can set the first HG to collective??? There is no linear option with this release only collective, sequential, rotary, or longest idle. Would rotary be the same as linear? Thanks, I will try this.
