Hi,
Is it posible to setup Call manager (5.1) to forward all unregistered extensions to one particular extension (service centre for example)?

Thanks for the answers

Try putting in a Translation Pattern, for 4 digit extensions of XXXX then translating it to the extension you want. Not sure if this will work on defined but unregistered extension but it's worth a shot.

It doesn`t work. It translate all called extension to the one extension.
I tried No coverage forwarding in extension settings, but it didn`t work too.

Not sure how you did it but it should work. I have done this several times for undefined DID numbers. CCM goes by longest match so this Xlate pattern should have been the last choice preceeded by all the defined/registered extensions assigned to phones. What do you get when you dial the unregistered extension? Busy, re-order, ??????

radulo: When doing the above translations you need to enter a number for xxxx, ie 1234 or what ever your number is. Just putting xxxx will translate all numbers, you can also specify ranges by putting in 123x this covers all numbers from 1230 to 1239. Hope this helps

I meant XXXX. This should cover all unused Dn's. Used/defined DN's will be the first choice of CCM as they will be the most specific match. Calls to 1234 will be delivered to the phone that has the 1234 DN assigned to it. But if there is no defined 1235 DN in the system, the XXXX Translation pattern will be the closest match and the call will be delivered to the DN specified in the Translation Pattern. You can limit it as trvl1 says by narrowing the matches like 12XX, etc. If radulo's Translation Pattern was matching all dialed numbers, there is a problem elsewhere in the dialing system or he didn't build the TP correctly.

Translation works for undefined DN, but not for unregistered. When I call DN assigned to unregistered phone I get quick busy tone.

Can you explain what you mean to unregistered? Are you saying a phone which has been configured but then becomes disconnected from CCM. Potentially you could make use of the Call Forward Unregistered setting on the phones with a forward to any extension but this setting is also used when you logged off when using mobility unless you have forward all set which overrides it

To iptuser: unregisterd I mean phone configured in ccm, but turned off, disconneted... Call forward unregistered setting is available from ccm 6.0 version. I have 5.1.1.

Yep you are right 5.1 is based on 4.1. Not shall it can be done
