When you forward to a user shortcode the system disregards the user shortcode entry and only follows the system short code entry. 406V2 3.2.55

I need to build a user shortcode:
[8]1N;
1NYXXXX
dial
lg:0

(XXXX=LD CODE)

This forward will only work when the code is created in System shortcodes, is this intended feature or bug?

Wash, rinse, repeat.

In Merlin days you could press "hold" I think for "P"(pause)
when you forwarded; anyone know if their is an equivalent for the IPO?

Wash, rinse, repeat.

It has always been this way unfortunatley, and no way around it that I have heard about.
This is one reason we dont support Tenanting the system.

What are you trying to accomplish? I do not mean in the micro sense of forwarding to a sc, but big picture.

The user has a long distance cell phone number and the long distance provider requires account code.

So I am trying to forward to 8 plus cell phone number and pause or wait for network connect and then dial the 4 digit pin.

I have created a system shortcode that matches his cell phone and performs this task but would prefer to use the user form to accomplish the feature.

------------------------------------------
Wash, rinse, repeat.

The "D" character pauses and waits for a connect message before sending the digits that follow... Did you try that?

Yea D or Y both work but it requires me manually creating a short code for each user who needs off-site FWD to LD number.

I was just looking for a way to either (A) let the user enter a pause into the dial string when they set up the forward so it is not an admin task or (B) create the code in the user tab so it will be deleted upon employee termination and not left hanging around in system shortcodes.

------------------------------------------
Wash, rinse, repeat.

What are the account codes? Could they match an ext number, and use E in the SC to dial the ext # after a D, or Y? Thus sending the ext# of the user which is CFALL to cell in the dialed number string?

Just a thought?????
