Can a phone be forwarded to a hunt group. I can get Unconditional Forward to work using another extension but not a hunt group. Is it possible?

Yes it can, internal extn, group or external number, groups use the overflow list to forward on to another group if that's what you meant :)

I need to be able to forward an extension that is not a member of a hunt group, to a hunt group.

I put the group number in the Forward Number field and set it to forward unconditionally. It wouldn't work, it still rang the phone that was to be forwarded. I put another extension number in and it worked fine. I wasn't sure if there was an issue with forwarding to a hunt group. I couldn't find anything on the forum or in documentation.

When you forward to a group where you are a member of then your phone will ring when it is it's turn to get a call.

I am not sure if this is true but it sounds like it.

I saw something simular yesterday with dect phones.
A dect phone(201) forwarded to another dect phone(202)
202 calls 201 and 201 rings.
calling 201 form another dect phone(203) rings 202.

I'll keep playing with it but here is the scenario. I forwarded 2254 unconditionally to HG 3002. I called 2254 from 2002 and the call rang 2254. Now, 2254 is not in HG 3002. I can forward 2254 to 2001, call 2254 and it rings 2001.

Unconditional forward. I just rebooted the IPO and it worked. A reboot fixed it.

I hope we don't have to do this all the time for small changes. That would be a nightmare.

Hmmmm, well 6.0.8 had some funky things going on with it if your using that. 6.0.14 seemed to be fine though.

It is 6(18).
