I hope someone has an idea....I have a client that has another company host its Web site and Email accounts. These accounts are accessed via a POP3/SMTP server at the host...This client also has an internal Exchange Server 5.5. What I would like to do is instead of using the Internet email confg in Outlook for downloading external mail, I would like to have all external mail route to the exchange 5.5 mail box through the SMTP service in Windows 2000. Is this possible ???...I know there are some tools that claim they can do this but I don't know if I trust them....Any help would be appreciated...Thanks.....

If you are looking at downloading the email via POP3 to the main server and distributing it from there, yes it's easy enough to do.

What you need is a POP3 connector and there are various brands to choose from.

We use E.F.S here and have been very happy with it, you can download a basic version for free which will most likely cover all the functions you need.
