In Outlook2000 SR1 there doesn't seem to be a way to make a "rule" happen when exiting outlook.

I would like to see everything in my inbox but have it sent to folders (using rules) when I exit outlook, much like one can empty trash when exiting outlook.

There isn't a way to do this. You would instead have to manually run the rule or write out a VB macro for yourself. joegz

Thanks Joegz

Thats what I thought.
I would like to write some code but need a bit oh help.

When necessary, in excel or word, I quickly record a macro then edit it to uncover the object syntax to stick in my VB code.

I can't see a way to record a macro in Outlook, is there a way or can you point me in the right direction to save me time in the object viewer?

Thanks in advance
