We are going through an outbound calling campaign where we call people who have access our website. We want to be able to transfer the call to a toll free number if they want to purchase. I know the call will be maintained on 2 of our trunk members until the call is disconnected, and our management says that is ok. The problem is that we are originating both calls and the phone switch won’t allow it. I have turned on trunk to trunk transfer for that COR. In the system features the trunk to trunk transfer is set to restricted. I can’t figure out what I need to do. We are able to transfer a call to another number as long as the initial call was not originated from the agent, but in this case both calls will be initiated by the agent. I don’t want to call Avaya/Lucent programming unless I have to. It’s got to be a simple change, I just can’t figure out what it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

By the way, we have a Definity G3Si Release 10.

Thanks,

We have done the same one time. What I did was have them transfer to an extension that had a remote dial set up in the cover path (r1). to get to this page type change coverage remote. Then you don't need to open yourself up to toll fraud, by having trunk to trunk turned on. Hope this help Wisdom is Knowledge

Thanks All Phoneman2

Thanks Phoneman2. That worked. I just hope they don't come up with too many numbers they want to call.

Thanks,

Tom
