I have tried in every way to show my data in a cell where the formula =d3-c3 resides. I can't get the answer to show up. I have used f9, calculate, tools-options. What else can I do? This has happened before, but I can't remember what my co-worker did to resolve the problem.

Any suggestions? THANKS!

Peace,

Thanks!kb

Hi,

Tools/Options - View Tab - Window Options Area - Uncheck Formulas CheckBox

Thanks, Skip. I tried that and it didn't work! I thought doing that would be the sure fix. Also, I made sure the workbook wasn't protected or anything. What do you think?

Thanks!kb

change the cell format to General, edit the formula, [enter]

If the first character isn't an = sign, then the formula won't compute. Click just to the left of the = sign and backspace. If the cursor moves, then you have solved the problem.
