I have figured out a simple formula to convert imported text to minutes. It works great in excel but I am getting #ERROR no matter how I play with it or add/delete parethesis around. Can someone please take a look at this and tell me what, probably very obvious item I am missing? Thanks.

Excel (I.e. (01:23:09)
=(A21/0.0416666666666667)*60
Answer is 83.1

Access
Field: Duration
Expression: Time:[Duration]/0.0416666666666667)*60
Answer is #ERROR

If Duration is a DateTime value:
Expression: 1440*([Duration]-CLng([Duration]))
If Duration is a Time value:
Expression: 1440*[Duration]
If Duration is a Text value:
Expression: 1440*CDate([Duration])

Hope This Helps, PH.
