Nicked this post from code internationalisation forum as I don't have an answer and have experienced the same problem.

Can you control how tooltips are displayed over multiple lines (e.g. by embedding vbCrLf)? I have not been able to do so?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry - tooltips are single lines. However: I had the same question and came across a control at this website:
which does exactly what you are looking for. Navigate over to the Source Code, then pick the Controls link. The "Multiline Tooltips" is what you are looking for.

Thank you - I will investigate
