I am using Crystal 8.5 and I need to change the font color of a summarized field in a crosstab depending on the value of a different summarized field in the same crosstab. Each field although "summarized" contains only one value (i.e there is only one data row that meets the column/row criteria for the cross tab - for each X/Y pair there is only one Z to summarize). The cross tab is for display only. I know how to do this with a manual crosstab, but I don't know how many columns (or rows for that matter) that the crosstab will display. It could be one to 100 columns/rows or theoretically in the thousands which makes the manual crosstab out of the question.

Has anyone figured out how to do this? Does Crystal 9 deal with this issue?

thanks in advance

Lisa
