Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have a load of AIT-2 sony backup discs, but the drive has been removed from the computer and i wish to format them, is there any other way around this or must i have the drive functional?? its from a server, so perhaps i could put into another computer and just format them if it picks drive up?

cheers craig

You'd erase not format but yes, can be done from any computer.

Nice one thanks for your help. :)

So ill just put drive into another computer and erase the tapes?? i assume by right clicking on drive and erase/format?? i dont need the program for this i take it.

thanks craig
