I have two applications that are developing the same problem. Both of these applications have been in production for several months (with no problems).
In each of the applications, users may generate a report. The Access report works fine. Once the report is generated, the user publishes the Access report as a word document via the 'publish it' icon. The problem is that the format of the subsequent Word document has become corrupted. Fields are not lining up correctly, with some or all of lines becoming compressed or otherwise jumbled.
To further confuse me, the application seems to run fine on another PC (the db itself resides on my LAN server).
The problem seems to be in the translation from the Access report to the Word document, but I haven't been able to determine whether it relates to Access or Word. A reinstall of Office 2000 didn't help.
Any ideas, anyone?
