I perform a mail merge in Publisher 2003. My adresses import sucessfully, but when they do, all the comic sans text is reformatted to times new roman. I REALLY do not want to go through the now 822 pages and change every box. Is there any way to prevent this?

At the point in the process where you have the merge fields inserted, but have not yet merged, select the merge fields (they look like <<FirstName>> ) and format them.

Thanks Lilliabeth, I wasn't clear. I actually don't really care what font the addresses are in, it reformats all the text in the rest of the newsletter.

I got around this by setting up the 2-page newsletter in Master Pages, so that when it reformats the whole d--- thing I only have 2 pages to fix, vs. 822. But it still seems odd that it does that.
