I have a really strange question. I'm using an Access query as my data source in a Merged Word document. I have a field in Access that is my key field and I have therefore found it necessary to use numbers with a decimal at times. When I merged this field into my Word document it comes out 785.20000000000005 dispite the fact that in Access it is actually only 785.2. Does any one know why this is happening or do you have any suggestions on how I can format this in either Access or Word to only give me a one digit decimal???????

I'm Stumped.

Thanks for thinking about this.

Use the Format function in your query.

Hope This Helps, PH.
