Formatting for CAPS in report (Access 2003) 1

I need to format the state to be CAPS in a report. Here is the problem. I have > as the format property in the underlying table and query since the data is not imported correctly as CAPS. But I have the city, state and zip fields concatenated in the report so I am not sure how to format just the state to be capitalized. For some reason the formatting is not carried over from the table. Can anyone help me out?
