Formatted wrong tape can i recover the Data

I need help on this one,as I said I formatted the wrong tape, a very very important tape, I know ARC only removes the label so am I able to recover the data on the tape

Please Help if you can

Sorry, no recovering possibilities with ARCserve anymore. You have to find yourself a Company that is specialized in recovering bits and bites from any given tape media. maybe they can help you out.

Once the tape header is overwritten ARCserve no longer has the ability to read the data on tape.

Most any data recovery service should have no problem restoring the data for you.
