Formating Concatinated Text

Using Crystal Reports 8.5:

When combining text with data in a formula to print out a result with a text description, I have often wanted to format some of the text (or text converted data) differently from the rest of the final string. Is it possible to embed text formatting codes into a strings.

You can build html tags into a formula to do this, for example:

"<strong>" + "Hello, " + "</strong>" + " today is: " + totext(currentdate,"MM/dd/yyyy")
