Hi ,

l would like to do a query but l would like to know a function to convert time from number.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

What is a typical NUMBER and what time representation do you expect to see from that NUMBER?

for a NUANCE![tongue]

l would like a typical time like 07:56 and it is currently a typical number like 134562 .

thanks for your response

do you mean that 134562 represents 13:45:62? If so 1) your posted example is not coherent 2) the value, 134562, is not really a NUMBER, but rather a NUMEIC STRING.

So please be clear, concise and complete.

Hi what l mean is that
1. l have a column which say AUDITTIME and the value for time is numeric like below:
AUDTTIME
8042131
8042131
8042131
8042131
8042131
12171217
13315139
This does not represents this format of time (13:45:62)

If l manage to get the time in any type of user readable that would be perfect. l just want to convert the this format of time to a real readable time format (eg 13:45 or 13H45 62 sec)

Thanks for your response.

NKOS13,
Why can't you provide your AUDTTIME values and what these represent? What do these values represent?
8042131
8042131
8042131
8042131
8042131
12171217
13315139
