format date in form criteria

I would like to input into a date field on a form, the date without the slashes (083005)mmddyy and it will automatically format with the slashes?

Try investigating input masks yo you enter is at yy/mm/dd but do not have to type the / and then set the format of the field to yy/mm/dd

Thank you, i used 00/00/0000. that seemed to work.
