I am working on a catalog where we have thousands of product listings. I've create a paragraph style with appropriate tabs and first line negative indent. I want the listings to look something like below.

32-56 Pass 01A-10005 This is a
multiline product
description. With more
than one sentance...... ea. $12.00

I can only get it to look like this by manully puting <SHIFT-ENTER> in appropriate places. I would like the output to look like this without having to put in the <SHIFT-ENTER> characters. If I take the <SHIFT-ENTER> character out, of course, I get something like this...

32-56 Pass 01A-10005 This is a multiline product
description. With more than one
sentance............ ea. $12.00

I don't like the product description running over top of the unit and price columns on the right. In other words, I would like all lines except the last to have a right margin about .75 inches less than the last line. In yet other words... left side outdent on first line, right side outdent on last line.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

this is very easy dude...

can you give me your e-mail so I can send you a Quark file?

alternatively...

format the paragraph with (for example)

Left Indent: 50mm
First Line: -50mm

and set a tab at 25mm

this will do exactly what you need!

Kind Regards

sorry - I thought there must be more to it than that! you need the last line outdenting - not so easy!

might have to use a language like Perl to help...?

Kind Regards
