form "jumps" above screen area

What the ^%$@?

When I double click on the title bar of my form it jumps 1/6 of its height above the visible screen. This only happens in 1024x768 setting.

Possibly the dumb award for me but ... why???

oops.
Sorry for the annoying question. The form .top property was set to a negative value.

Why it can be is a mystery. But problem solved.
