Is there a way to keep the main form from "bouncing" all over when tabing through the fields on the main form or subform?

It always centers the current field on the screen if it is a long form.

I think I may know what you are talking about by 'bouncing'. Once, when I created a form that was larger than the screen, the form had that affect. I changed the form so that it was more compact and fit within the screen area. You can also set it so that you have a link that allows the user to 'page down' to the rest of the form, if the form is larger than the screen area.

Yes, I beleive that may be the problem the form is larger then one page (but the controls are all on the screen!)...is there a fix besides changing the size of my forms?

I guess the answer to your question would be yes and no. I don't know what your fields are or how many fields are 'off the screen.' Can you group your controls so that they make sense and create a 'first page' of controls that fits the monitor screen. Then add a 'page break' to that form with a link above the page break that allows the user to click on it and page down to the next screen with additional controls that need to be filled in and so on and so forth. Essentially, all of your data is still together but is broken down for easier viewing and data entry by the user. Generally, based on 'one to many' my table structures are fairly small and manageable. Can your table be broken down or is all of the information directly related? Hope this helps.

Thanks but all the information in the table is related and needed. I went through this when I started this project, I broke down a 1 table database into 19 or so... now in one to many relationships. the problem is I have a teb control with subforms on diffrent tabs. I am trying to keep the user on 1 screen and not have to click buttons except for reports

(much easier for my support efforts.)
