Hi All,
I have an issue with my Form which is based on a query of two tables 1.) Main table 2.) Special projects, with a join on one field ("Data Analyst").

My main form has the Special Projects as a subform.

I've entered only 9 records on my form, but for some reason the query is showing 90 records (it's creating 9 sets of every record). What is going wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Tiffany

hi

if it is a query, have you actually made the join, it souunds like you have not and you are getting a cartesian join ie every combination

if it is a main form / sub form, have you declared the master/child relation ship field ?

How are ya TJones76 . . . .

That certainly sounds abnormal if not a bug . . . .

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . ..

What version are you using?

If you can, post the query!

Thanks Guys,

I realized that I did not need the join afterall because I had already created the Master / Child fields for my subform. When i deleted the join, the correct # of records showed.
