hi all. I need help, i created a couple of textboxes in my existing form. When i run the form, i always get the message "variable is editing is not found. I am not sure what is the problem, since i already created this variable. Any help. Thanks

This can be all kinds of things. You might have misspelled it. You might have it scoped to a procedure and be trying to use it elsewhere. You may define it in an object which hasn't been created at the time you're trying to use it.

Tell us where your trying to use this variable and where you define it.

Hi. Somehow i got my problem solved. Thanks for helping. Another question. How do start learning foxpro, i mean what's the best way to learn? Is there any resource to learn by myself.

Well, hanging out here and on the Universal thread should help a lot. Then there's a free on-line course at:

which you might find useful. (You have to register with them but there's no cost.) And really just practicing things you find in the help files or the samples included with VFP will improve your skills quickly.
