I have a form that was working fine, opening maximized. Now it is about 1" off the screen to the left and 1" off the screen at the top. The only way I can see the screen properly is to use both scrollbars, except my form exactly fits my screen and I do not want scrollbars and it is annoying to have to keep shifting the form each time using the scrollbars. I compared the properties of this form with one that is working and everything was the same. I don't have a lot of codes in the form so I don't think that is it. I have REM out the Maximize command but that didn't do anything either. I tried changing it from sizable to dialog, changing the margins, everything.

Does anyone have any ideas what the deal could be? Thanks, JL

Several questions:

1) What is the position and state of the main Access window?

2) What are the values of the Auto ReSize and Auto Center properties of the form in question?

3) When you say, "exactly fits my screen", what do you mean by screen? Is this a popup form that covers Access in order to completely cover the Desktop? Or do you mean by screen the Access client area?

Good Luck

It sounds as if you've worked on the form in Design View and saved it with the form in this position (possibly working on a section of the form opposite.)

Try this:

To center forms:

1) AutoCenter must be set to No
2) In design view move form to correct position
3) Click on Save
4) Close form without doing anything else

Hope this helps.

Although your help is tremendously appreciated, my computer seemed to fix its own problem. Actually we have been having a lot of computer problems lately and I had a corrupted database. I copied over all the tables, queries, etc. but for some reason none of the code transferred over. I just went through and checked all forms and they are all workly correctly now. I am sorry to have wasted your valuable time, but appreciate the help. JL
