Form Fields Mailing

Hi gang

I have a form on my web site that I want to mail teh contents to a specified address WITHOUT th user having to endure Outlook or other mail program opening...

I basically want this to submit give them a msg saying THanks and its all been mailed to my address

I cant use CDONTS bcos of server restrictions so HOW can i do this ??

Help v much appreciated !!

You will need server side support to do this. Most ISP's have some sort of form email CGI script, but the actual syntax you need will depend on your ISP.

As John says, your hosting provider may have some kind of formmail script which you can use.

If not, there are plenty of such scripts at as well as links to remotely hosted services that'll do the job for you if you can't/don't want to use a script.
