I've created a subform within a form, and have put the layout to suit. But upon viewing the finished form the layout goes back to the unformatted default layout). This happens in both form, and subform views. It's probably something simple, but I'm puzzled and can't figure it out.

I've checked both here and at MS newsgroups but without finding any info.

Using Office XP (sp-2) on Win XP pro.

When you add a subform to a form using the wizard it makes the default view of the subform a "data sheet" view.
Open just the subform by itself and open the form properties.
find the Default view property and change it to “Single form” And save it.
