FORGOT ACCESS DATABASE PASSWORD

HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO OPEN MY ACCESS 2000 DATABASE. TRIED UPPERCASE LOWER CASE ..ETC AND NO LUCK!!!.

Does not seem to work. All I got was uncognizable characers

I am using MS VBA, should I be using Visual basic 6, or does it make a difference?.
