I have a report that I need to print 40 records per page. I have a invisible counter in the detail section along with a name field. I followed the instructions from Help using Visual Basic to force a page break and the first page looks great! However, for some reason the 2nd page prints only one name and it's in the second column and that is it! The list continues on the third page but leaves the first space in the first column blank (where the name from the second page should be!) I have no idea why this would be happening--anyone? Is there a better way to print only 40 records per page?

Thanks!
jgarnick
jgarnick@aol.com

If you know you always want 40 records and they take up the same amount of space say 7.5" then make your top margin and or bottom margin bigger to get just those amount on a page.
Preview it and then keep changing you margins to get it right.
If your data is variable this won't work. Like you have a Memo field that the number of lines varies.
Also
Have a Look at my award winning FAQ too for Printer tips here on Tek-Tips.

<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">
DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.

Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees.......works fine increasing the bottom margin...duh! Thanks!
jgarnick
jgarnick@aol.com
