force popup win though framset

i have a databae for searching car makes & models etc and am trying to add a search facility on my study site. whatI am trying to do is create a pop-up window(DONE) to force through the frameset and appears when a user trys to search for a certain car all I can manage is that the whole menu html page is forced throught when site is loaded overriding the frameset .

Umm... Can you rephrase your question? What do you mean "force through the frameset"?
