Is there a way to force all phones to log out at a designated time at night? We are having an issue with people not logging out properly and it is throwing of the mgr’s reports.
you can force log if the user misses a call.. if they have headsets you can homl yes and unplugging the headset will log them out.. or you can symposium... or you can get a manager that can manage her people...
very often we try to software around bad management...
We are running an option 61
We do have symposium (SCCS)ver 5.
We do the "3 strikes" and you are out on missed calls.
As for headsets, it is not an option. Users are going to unplug them anymore than logout. If an mgr has to go to there desk to unplug headset then they can log the phone one.
I agree it should be on the end user. Not logging out is more of a coaching issue, not a tech one.
One call center i worked at had Symposium log all agents out if it saw a certain manager log in. They used this for emergencies (fire and had to evacuate building, didnt want calls to keep coming in) so you could set it up the same way, have that manager log in after hours, it would log out all agents, then he just logs back out.
A Symposium Guru could tell you if you can just have symposium log all agents out at a certain time of day, I'm not sure if it can be done that way as well, but I do know you can have it work the way we did before.
