Is there a command to force a sync between the PDC and BDC?

Cheers

If you're looking for a cmd line command, dunno. Otherwise, you can go into Server Manager, select your PDC, and click on Computer > Synchronize Entire Domain. This will sync the PDC to ALL BDCs.

Another option is to select a BDC in Server Manager, click on Computer > Synchronize With Primary Domain Controller. This way will synchronize only a single BDC with the PDC. Be careful when you do this because the option right above this is "Promote to Primary Domain Controller." I've accidentally hit this before and so have a few folks I have worked with. It wasn't too big of a problem, but it did require staying late to promote the original PDC back to PDC status. For this reason alone, I usually always use the first method. HTH :)

There is a command line... but the catch is that it only works on a Domain Controller (PDC or BDC).

Type "net accounts /sync" on any BDC to sync it with the PDC, or on the PDC to sync all DCs.

Best of luck.
Cheers,
Sam
