It is more than likely not a Photoshop issue, it is probably a corrupt font. I had this happen before. If you have more than 1000 (or so) fonts loaded that could be a major issue as well.
You can repair your font directory. I cannot remember how though. Go to the 'Windows' forum and post the question. » » » » » »
