Fonts is not constant..

How to change the font so that it remain constant for your choice of font at the start of each new page. I tried to change it in preference at the font setting column but it does seem to help much. THe fonts did change when i am typing but swapped to the default font upon preview. I need to highlight every single words on my page and change the font of my choice manually which is definitely very tiring. Anyone can help me?
