Font problem

Hi Guys
Even though I have converted some fonts to graphics in MX, they still appear blurred on the site at small sizes. I have purchased custom fonts from which are supposed to be crisp at very small point sizes but they still look blurred! Is this an anti-aliasing thing?
Hope you can help?
